We are getting closer to our end of season banquet, and things are coming into shape. Please see details below to help you plan your participation in the banquet.

Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child through November 15, 2011. Walk-ins will be charged $20 per head. Please register early so we can make the appropriate catering orders for food.

The luncheon social will include items such as homemade meatballs, roasted chicken, fresh baked Italian rolls, baked pasta marinara with mozzarella cheese, salad, homemade desserts, and drinks. What a great deal!!

Please RSVP by November 15th to your team parent with checks made payable to “Conestoga Generals”. In order to plan as best as possible, we ask that EVERY FAMILY RSVP.

A couple more items…

  • Please allow us to showcase your children by sending pictures to conestogagenerals@gmail.com. We want to prepare a slide show, so please email pictures so your son or daughter can be featured!! This is your chance to show off!!
  • We need volunteers!! The more the merrier and the lighter the load for each person. Volunteering for the Generals is a great way to show your child your support for their participation. Opportunities to help:
  • Show off your strength by helping to set up the event!!
  • So you think you are a sales person? Help us by selling raffle tickets!!
  • Are you a master cleaner? We need volunteers to help break down the event!!
  • And for those creative & technical folks, how about helping to create the slide show!!
  • If each team could provide 3-4 volunteers, we should be good. Please take the opportunity to volunteer. We need YOUR help. Please email meg_rafter@yahoo.com to volunteer.
  • The banquet will be held in the Conestoga High School cafeteria and auditorium.
  • Pictures and trophies will be distributed at the banquet as a part of the recognition ceremonies.
  • Please register this week by giving your check to your team parent at practice.
  • Sponsorship opportunities are availableDid you know we are a 501(c)(3) organization? Sponsorship opportunities are available! Do you want to get your business exposure to 500+ local people? Do you want to help the Generals with a tax deductible donation? We are now accepting sponsors for our upcoming banquet!! What a great way to recognize your child’s accomplishments and/or promote your local business!! Over 400 people are invited, so don’t miss this chance to get you or your family / friends / neighbors’ message out to the local community.     •  Silver – Sponsor a table at the luncheon: $10

      Each team/squad/etc. will have several tables in the cafeteria. We’d like to have each team/family sit together and would like to have “table sponsors” like table numbers at a wedding. Families or businesses can sponsor the table marker for their team. We will have several available for each team.  The table sponsor display will be approximately 8×10″ and will have the team name on it with additional “text only” information. For example, Flag Team #1 – Great Season!! The Smith Family. Or, 90 LB Tackle – Great Teamwork This Season!! John Doe Construction Company.

    • Gold – Sponsor a slide in the slide show: $20

      Each sponsor will be able to design their own Microsoft PowerPoint slide in the slide show. Put a picture of your player/cheerleader in the show, or a picture of your family, or just a message, “Go Generals” – whatever you want to do as long as we are able to put it into a Microsoft PowerPoint slide. Be creative and put your family’s name in lights!

    • Platinum – Sponsorship with your supplied banner / sign: $100

      Do you have a corporate logo, banner, or sign that you’d like to placed at the banquet?
